8/28/08 - just heard that Jindal, Chertoff, and Nagin are meeting this afternoon.

8/27/08 -

Every hotel in Baton Rouge is booked solid for Sunday and Monday. It seems that folks are preparing to evacuate in the event that Gustav threatens Louisiana. Entergy New Orleans is keeping an eye on Gustav. If the track continues, they will open the command center tomorrow or Friday. Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden is holding a press conference at 10:00 am today.
